A(nother) place to write

No sooner did I walk in the door but everyone is bombarding me with computer questions. I got here over an hour early so that I could have some think time, but no, I have to deal. Yesterday I cooked lunch for the entire church so that we could all get to cleaning afterwards. I'm not sure how it went. I wasn't frantic in the kitchen for once, and for once my soup was not overcooked and very good. I made Gypsy Vegetable Soup (of course) from the Moosewood cookbook and Potato soup from memory. **Just lost power, but my computer was still up. The rest of the computers in the room did not.** I got the food served with a little helped from the Miller woman and from Birdwoman. Everyone cleaned and we got out of there by 3:30 p.m. and then went to the Tenor's house for their baby's one year birthday and their open house. After that we came home and I crashed. We went looking for daughter in the Park because but she was not there so we went home and she wasn't home so I was upset, but we called Tenor and she had been there and they gave her some cash for gas. I was so beat that I went to bed around 9:15 and slept all night.
