This is the first day of classes for 2005.
I was told I have to come up with some attendance facts ranging back one year for the boss to satisfy grant requirements.
I was asked to solve computer problems for 4 different teachers today.
Problem one, load Adobe Reader on 12 computers (I had to leave the class to show the woman how to do it, and she still didn't get it, I loaded it on 3 computers then left.)
Two, figure out how ESL messed up their attendance program (it won't open and keeps asking for a password.)
Three, add 2 people on as administrators to our Novel program… I gave a temporary fix by changing my own password to one I usually don't use and granting temporary access with that password.
Four, I was asked to find a scanner and printer for another teacher in the building for a new course she is offering (computer textiles).
In addition we had one teacher absent (he's always absent it seems).
My husband substituted today over at the regular high school.
The front office forwarded calls for the teacher who was in this room to me.
Other than the fact that I got here 45 minutes early and I am here 1 1/2 hours later is only par for the course.
