A(nother) place to write

Well I have been back at school for a week. I would have tomorrow off, but I have to much to catch up on and I have a meeting for 3 hours tomorrow. My new posters came in and I need to get them on the walls, and I simply must, must, must clean out my cabinets. They are so disorganized! The ironic thing is that students think I am more organized that their other teachers. I think it is because I am always trying to keep up with it.

I learned yesterday that we are supposed to be moving to a new building sometime in the near future. It figures. We just got this building into shape and now we are going to move, isn't that just like a bureaucracy? The new building will not meet the needs of our students as well either I think. The reason is because our current building is close to the center of town and has 3 places to eat nearby; Rally's, White Castle, and a grocery. There is also a donut shop and a Walgreen's close, where one can also get food. Our new location has Wal-mart and that is it. The street you have to cross to get to Wal-mart is fairly hazardous as well.

I like my new schedule. I am working Monday though Thursday from 8 am - 11 am then Tuesdays from 5 pm - 8:30 pm. I get the best of both worlds and Fridays to run errands, leave town early, or whatever. I wish I could go to cons or go camping or something, but since my kids still attend school that is out. I am going to be able to swim though. My mother purchased a swim membership for me at the Holiday Inn. My husband has a job, but he has issues with it. The world can be so complicated.
