LJ is down
I tried to make a log entry tonight but the computer locked up on me when I was making a list of websites about why I like my town. I suppose it was not to be, for today anyway. I can’t remember what site crashed it. I was complaining about my RA which has been awful today even though I took my methotrexate and went swimming for an hour. After the computer crashed I sat down to watch “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” and then Wildcarrot came in and I forgot what happened then, but I remember I wanted to say how he is always discrediting himself or not giving himself his due. I’d like him to realize how smart and with it I think he is. He is a genius with numbers, he swims like a dream, (we swam tonight) he is adept at all sorts of boating, and is fearless on a bike or roller blades. He tries his best to eat healthy and to live a healthy life. He is kind and gives of himself, even when maybe he shouldn’t.
Saw the wiccan housewife that I keep running into from my town, a coworker, the mayor’s wife, and lots of folks I recognized from NA. (This was Friday at the Harry Potter event for the distribution of the last book.) They had a HP money system and had set up a candy shop and theladycancook’s mother read and my co-worker from the Falls sat next to her.
On Saturday I went to a workshop on Fiber Arts, I saw my partner from the class I took last Spring and the wiccan lady from last night. I learned a few new things and spent some money I shouldn’t have.
Sunday I cleaned house, read HP7, had my sister & her brood over, went to see sister-in-law in the hospital (and until Sat. didn’t know she was there) and then watched Adaptation with WC.
Monday I read HP&7, took Earthpen’s truck and helped my daughter move the bed and 2 dressers to her house, went to my mom’s house (she came home early) and took my mom to the store.
Tuesday I finished Harry Potter. I had to go to work and only had one chapter left so I took it with me and read it before I left. It bounced all around and then finally finished as I predicted, all the while making me wonder if it really would end that way. Most of the things I was curious about were resolved. After work I took my mother her mail and then came home to nag SW. He had hardly touched his homework.
The RA wasn’t so bad Monday or today but Thursday through Sunday I was pretty miserable.
I’ve got so many things to do I probably won’t post until right before we leave for vacation (if then).
For vacation we’re going to take SW to camp and then have some time with relatives and then some time alone. After that we are going to pick up SW then come home and turn right around and go to Orlando, then come home and go to Conglomeration (SF con) then we start school/work. EEK!
I have a lot to do before we go and a lot to tell my daughter and her boyfriend about the house. I’d like to leave maintenance up to them, but I’m going to try and have the lawn mowed and the mail stopped, because she would probably forget it.

I enjoyed the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" movie for many reasons. It's one of those I can watch more than once. The scenery in Greece was gorgeous. Amber Tamblyn is one of my favorite people ever since Joan of Arcadia (I loved that series).
I loved Joan of Arcadia too.
Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I rarely look at this account. You are on LJ too right? or are you someone else?
