Halloween is going to be here soon. I still don’t know what my costume will be. I think I will go au natural, which for me means as a stereotypical gypsy. I have this great fabric downstairs that has giant hands and numbers on it. I don’t know, I think it depends how I feel. I might also go as something I’ve never done before, like the undead. Daughter has to be at church on Sunday to perform, so I think we might have to leave the party in BFK early. It probably takes an hour to get to the location of the event. Hubby of course might have to work, which would put a damper on everything. I don’t even know if I’d want to go then, but since daughter is on restriction, the alternative would be to sit around the house with the kids and mope.

Hubby is as I write training to be a crane operator. He is doing it out of order since he would have to be a rigger first. Classes are only offered at certain times, so that’s that.

I made some winter stew and I am wondering if anyone besides Hubby will eat it. It contains onion, garlic, zucchini, pumpkin, speckled butter beans, black beans, corn and orzo. I am taking some picanté sauce and cheese to work tonight for tacos.

I substituted today for the under 16 class in the a.m. I will only be getting sub pay for it, but money is money. The boss said he will be sending me over to the high school as a consultant to set up another program like the one we have, so that also will be some extra funds. I just hope he gets my extra hours and benefits approved. If I don’t get that, I may have to look for a job elsewhere. The only alternative is across the river and I really don’t want to be there. I didn’t want my kids there, so why would I want to teach there?
