Life in a small town.
I called a student today to see if she was coming back to class.
Her mom said that she was in the hospital having her baby.
A student in my class who used to go to elementary school with my daughter
(but in a different class) said that the girl having her baby used to be at their elementary school as well except she had the other teacher. My husband is substituting for that teacher today.
Another chorus of "It's a small world after all...."
