It is a miserable rainy Monday morning after vacation and my hands hurt and itch between the joints. My entire body hurt most of the weekend and missed the Easter service at church. I did go to the Good Friday service however.

From January to this date we had 16 people complete a total of 24 total credits- 1 had as many as 4 while most only had 1 credit.

Internet went down for a few minutes. It was an OH NO moment, but I called the tech office (they actually answered) and they said they had rebooted the server and that we shouldn't' have had any problems (but we did). Luckily it was over in a couple of minutes.

I was supposed to have a faculty meeting today, but I still haven't heard if we are having it or not. Since it is the first day back, I am wondering if anyone else is ready for the meeting. Who does the agenda and minutes on these things? I also was supposed to have a meeting with a new friend, but she didn't answer her phone, so that conflict may not be a conflict after all. (I just found out we ARE having it.)

Before break we had a very productive meeting with one of the people who does State Attendance. She went over how to analyze our data and we discovered a gross error. This is very good news. What this means is that we can fix our figures for this year and hopefully our statistics will be better. What we discovered is that a box was missing on our forms. This box said eligible grad and if it wasn’t checked that means that it didn't get entered into the computer that way. That means all graduates who took coursework didn't count on our count. OUCH! It should be interesting seeing how this is fixed.

I only have one student left at this late hour. The others have finished or left. Of course a lot of them didn't bother coming today. I made 8 phone calls this morning and several overslept and many phones were not in service. I have in-laws coming in 2 weeks and there is a lot left to do, including finding somewhere for everyone to sleep. Maybe I can borrow someone's inflatable bed. I have to finish cleaning the basement as well as try to keep the upstairs clean. Here at school I still have some sorting and organizing to do. The boss keeps telling me that he needs to get me more students but I am not sure how we do that. I have never been a formal recruiter. I have gone out to public events and given out information about our school, but that is all I have done. I need to have 10 students enrolled per period with a minimum attendance of 6 hours each. I think I have that, but I'd like to be at capacity. I like to earn my keep and there is more joy in more successes.
