A(nother) place to write

Classes have been slow of late. Not many students have been attending and those that come aren’t staying for the full class time. I should be cleaning my room or something, but I just don’t feel like it. I need a deadline or something.

I have been supplying food for my students. I buy popcorn, cookies and candy. The principal also buys crackers, juice, and fruit occasionally. What bothers me is that some students have come to expect it. They think that they are entitled to this food. Now some have been told that we pay for this out of our own pockets, but they still feel that it is an entitlement.

I had to start using a different computer as my teacher computer and I am not happy about it. I don’t like the big flat screen. I miss all my photos that I had downloaded from
Web Shots and my home computer. I took most of my files but there are still a few on the old machine that I have not gotten off. I hope the tech. doesn’t dump it before I do. I know it is a conspiracy type thought but I think my computer was sabotaged. I think they didn’t want me to have it anymore so they rigged it so the printer wouldn’t work. I should have tried to fix it myself rather than have her futz with it. Anyway this one is adequate but severely lacking in amenities. I want my old computer back. Of course I’ve dumped a bunch of it, so it wouldn’t be the same. The old one also has a dial up modem as well as the LAN line.
