A(nother) place to write

Strange things today.

We had an intruder drill.

My clock has been off by 7-8 minutes since Monday, the school must have had a power outage over the weekend.

The principal was actually here today. I asked him to speak to the young girl who won't keep her mouth shut and wouldn't mind me when I asked her to move. It was the same girl who said she was being abused, but was lying for attention earlier in the year.

I had a student leave and go to the emergency room in pain yesterday. It was just stretched ligaments. I thought that is all it was. But anyway her step-father came in to give me her notebook and it was a guy from church. LC who hasn't been there lately, but he was on the board a few years ago and grew up there. I think he was also responsible for the minister we have now, who I don't like. Another round of "It's a Small World After All" anyone?

My class load has been OK though not great. Today was the end of a 60 hour unit. I had 11 or 12 with their required 12 hours. I also had 3 who don't count but have that amount of hours. Several students had 40 or more. I've dropped a few as well. We need to come up with some sort of policy. We supposedly have one, but I'm the only one sticking to it I think.

On the home side, I had a good weekend, and have more activites coming soon. Healthwise my RA is giving me fits and my asthma is not great. I'm only exerising 2-3 times a week, I need to get that up. My water intake is a bit down and I'm feeling the affects.
